Join Heather, owner of Hallo Ceramics, for a relaxed pottery workshop where you'll create your own handmade ceramic wall-mounted candle sconce from clay! 🕯️

A candle sconce is a decorative wall-mounted holder designed to display a candle, adding a warm, cosy glow and a beautiful handmade feature to your home! 

Using fresh clay, Heather will guide you through every step of the hand-building process, showing you how to construct your sconce before adding your own decorative details. Whether you prefer playful florals, celestial motifs, seasonal textures or a clean, contemporary design, you'll have the freedom to create something that perfectly suits your style. Once your design is complete, you'll finish your piece with colourful underglazes, ready for its final firing.

This workshop is perfect for beginners and experienced makers alike, with all tools, materials and tuition provided. Heather will be on hand throughout to help you bring your ideas to life in a relaxed and friendly environment.

After the workshop, your candle sconce will be professionally dried, glazed and kiln-fired before being returned to the venue for collection, ready to hang in your home and enjoy for years to come. 🕯️

If you can’t make it, let us know as soon as possible so we can refill your spot.

• Cancellations up to 5 days before: £15 fee retained (not including workshop day)

• No refunds within 3 days of the workshop (not including workshop day)
