What to expect from Springfolk!

'Friendly Folk' has become a long-awaited extension of my beloved Hallo Ceramics business. After attending markets now for 5+ years, I really wanted to put my own stamp on one, bringing together all the wonderful experiences I've had over years, under one roof.

Friendly Folk Markets are hosted at one of Nottingham's new up & coming venues, The Nest. An exciting 1300 capacity ex-warehouse situated near Meadow Lane, recently renovated to host a multitude of exciting events! From Bonkers Bingo, live gigs, club nights & footy fan zones, and now our lovely new market!

At each market, you can discover over 40 talented independent makers, bakers and creatives from Nottingham and beyond, bringing you unique gifts, handmade treasures and treats you won’t find on the high street. You can expect ceramics, prints, woodworks, felting, photography, paintings and more. Workshops are also hosted throughout the day from different traders at the event!

Come hungry! Our street food line-up will be serving delicious savoury bites and sweet treats, alongside a bar stocked with refreshing drinks, plus hot drinks from our Tea & Coffee truck.

Street food vendors include:

Goombah’s, BahBah Mezze and The Grumpy German!

- Free on-street parking nearby
- Accessible indoor market space (one flight of stairs to workshop space)
- Family-friendly & dogs are welcome, too!
