OUR MUCKY MONTHLY EVENT

Our Pots and Pints sessions make clay fun and accessible in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. No experience needed—just come, create, and enjoy games, surprises, and a free drink! You’ll get step-by-step guidance, and at the end, you can have your pieces professionally fired and glazed for a small fee. Bring your friends, family, or come solo—everyone’s welcome, and you’ll leave with new muddy pals!

Pots and Pints is ran with my joint business 'The Kilnhouse Nottingham', which I run with my best friend of 16+ years, who is also an amazing ceramicist.

  • MONSTER MUGS- ROUGH TRADE NOTTINGHAM

    THU 09/10 - DOORS: 6PM, START: 6:30PM, END: 9:30PM

    Join Heather & Emma for a spooky, silly night of creativity at Rough Trade Nottingham on Thursday, October 9th, as you sculpt your own Monster Mug! Enjoy a free drink, fun icebreakers, games, music, and step-by-step guidance from two playful potters. You'll use clay to build 3D features like eerie eyes and twisted horns, then finish your mug with texture tools and specialist black paint. All materials are provided, and no experience is needed—just bring your imagination! Pieces can be kiln-fired for £4 and collected later. Ages 18+.

Kick off the evening with a free drink and fun icebreaker, then enjoy games, music, and guided step-by-step pottery as you build and decorate your unique creation with spooky 3D features.     Get cosy and festive with Heather & Emma on Thursday, December 4th at Rough Trade Nottingham as you create a set of four handmade Christmas tree decorations. After enjoying a free drink and a fun icebreaker, dive into games, music, and guided crafting—shape, decorate, and paint your own hanging ornaments using cookie cutters or freehand, adding 3D details like antlers, noses, and candy canes.
